I like the way you use the story about your jacket and the stove to set up the review and illustrate the problem it adresses.

Thanks for the review, it was a fun read, and I learned interesting and useful stuff. I liked the summary at the end, especially the suggestion to design my life around my own proclivities and possibilities, and design it for the least motivated and stupidest incarnation of myself.

Little things pedantic me didn't like: You write "Most of us know what Feedback is..." which sounded slightly condescending to me (of course we know) and even if we didn't know , what is the use of writing it?

You write "playing with my child". Child sounds less intimate, more technical than son or daughter to me. English is not my mother tongue so maybe I am completely wrong here, sorry if that is the case.

All in all, good review.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it and I appreciate the feedback. I'll see if I can change the wording around the feedback thing - I didn't mean for it to be condescending. Using "child" was just about not giving out more personal details than necessary, in line with the contest rules 🙂

Thanks for the review! Design principles and user experience are vital for products under high competition. This book was already recommended by a colleague and after your review, it goes on my wishlist.
